What is Cribl?

Cribl gives IT and security teams control over their telemetry data – logs, metrics, traces, and events generated across their environments. It helps organizations collect, process, route, store, and search that data, delivering the right information to the right tools while keeping costs and complexity under control.

As data volumes grow, sending everything to a single analytics platform becomes increasingly expensive. Cribl provides a more flexible approach: reduce unnecessary noise, enrich data with useful context, route it to multiple destinations, and retain full-fidelity records in economical storage – a great way of lowering that expensive license by data costs. Teams can make better use of their existing investments while adapting to new operational and security requirements.

Infigo IS brings years of experience in security analytics, data integration, and complex enterprise environments to Cribl implementations. We became an official Cribl partner in 2023 and a Cribl Professional Services partner in 2024, helping organizations turn their data management requirements into practical, reliable solutions.

Through Cribl Professional Services, we provide architecture design, implementation, integration, optimization, maintenance, and support across the Cribl portfolio.

Cribl Products

  • Cribl Edge

Cribl Edge collects and processes telemetry close to its source, across servers, applications, and container environments. Centralized fleet management simplifies the configuration and maintenance of distributed collectors, while processing at the edge helps reduce unnecessary data transfer. Teams gain greater visibility into their environments and more control over the data delivered to downstream tools.

  • Cribl Stream

Cribl Stream processes telemetry in motion, connecting data sources with security, observability, and analytics platforms. It filters noise, transforms formats, enriches events, masks sensitive information, and routes data to one or more destinations. Organizations can optimize ingestion costs, improve data quality, and simplify migrations while continuing to use supported existing agents and collectors.

  • Cribl Lake

Cribl Lake provides a straightforward way to store and manage telemetry for investigations, operational analysis, and long-term retention. Open formats and flexible storage options help organizations retain more data economically while preserving the freedom to use it with their preferred tools. Together with Cribl Stream and Search, it makes historical data easier to access when new questions arise.

  • Cribl Search

Cribl Search enables teams to explore telemetry across supported data sources and storage locations through a unified query experience. Search-in-place capabilities help analysts investigate data without first moving everything into a central platform. IT and security teams can connect information across their environments, troubleshoot problems, and investigate incidents with less data movement and preparation.

  • Cribl Detect

Cribl Detect brings threat detection and investigation to an open security architecture. Streaming detections identify suspicious activity as telemetry flows through the pipeline, while correlation helps uncover related events. Detection posture management highlights coverage gaps, and federated search supports investigations across distributed data. Organizations can introduce these capabilities alongside their existing security tools and modernize them at their own pace.

Cribl Related Services

In addition to implementation, maintenance, and support, Infigo IS provides services that help organizations improve how they collect, manage, and use telemetry throughout its lifecycle.

Architecture and implementation. We assess your data sources, destinations, volumes, and operational requirements, then design and deploy a Cribl architecture suited to your environment. This includes source onboarding, pipeline configuration, integrations, and validation of data delivery.

Data pipeline optimization. We review existing data flows to identify unnecessary volume, processing bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve data quality. Filtering, aggregation, normalization, and enrichment help deliver useful information to downstream platforms while controlling ingestion and infrastructure costs.

SIEM migration and modernization. We help organizations introduce new analytics platforms and transition between SIEM solutions. Routing data to existing and new destinations in parallel supports phased migrations, testing, and continuity of security monitoring.

Retention and search. We design storage and access strategies around the value of your data, investigation needs, and retention requirements. Combining economical storage with search and replay capabilities helps preserve historical evidence without sending every event to premium analytics storage.

Security data and detection readiness. We help align telemetry collection, normalization, and enrichment with security use cases. For Cribl Detect deployments, this includes configuring data flows and detection workflows, reviewing coverage, and integrating with investigation and response processes.

Training and knowledge transfer. Practical training helps your team operate and develop the solution confidently. Sessions focus on your own environment, from managing collectors and building pipelines to troubleshooting data flows and maintaining reliable day-to-day operations.
